Aged five, Adam was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis which caused non cancerous tumours to grow on his body. He has presented numerous documentaries for the BBC, and reported for The One Show and Channel 4’s Tricks of the Restaurant Trade. Adam has been widely recognised for his award-nominated supporting role in A24’s A Different Man. He also starred in the BAFTA nominated Under the Skin, featuring Scarlett Johansson and directed by Jonathan Glazer, and is cast as Joseph Merrick in a new film adaptation of The Elephant Man (2027).

Adam has been named on The Shaw Trust’s Disability Power 100 List as well as being nominated for Celebrity of the Year at the Sense Awards.
