  • How to cultivate resilience in the face of change. A framework for embracing new opportunities and continuous reinvention.

The Royal Household is one of the world’s oldest institutions and has sustained its relevance and influence by continually adapting to cultural and societal change. In the digital age, this has required a complete rethinking of external engagement, from embracing new channels of communication to redefining how it connects with global audiences. The outcome has been greater visibility, deeper engagement and enhanced reputation, particularly among younger demographics. The inside story of this transformation and the challenges navigated along the way offers a compelling lens through which to explore risk, reinvention and the realities of leading transformational change. Eva will also draw on her partnership with The King’s Trust as a case study for building legacy and resilience through strategic diversification.

  • A roadmap for leaders to build genuinely inclusive environments. The strategic imperative to make all voices heard and integrate diversity into a core culture.

Eva served as The King’s first Director of Community Engagement and remains the most senior person of colour to have advised a British Monarch. As a female business-owner and senior leader, she brings extensive experience in effective DEI and in creating work cultures where talent thrives. She is guided by the principle that embracing diversity produces stronger, more innovative organisations. This session shows how values-led leadership can translate into real-world impact. Brand63 Africa provides a live example of aligning business strategy with a social mission to deliver meaningful value beyond the financial bottom line. Eva will also reflect on her experience co-creating The King’s Trust Global Gala in New York, developing an event that brought together fashion, entertainment and philanthropy to elevate diverse voices, broaden cultural representation, and inspire action beyond traditional fundraising. With culture now central to organisational strategy, the question for modern leaders is how to keep pace with rising expectations from staff and stakeholders who want to be part of a genuine community or movement, while building work environments that drive performance, loyalty, and long term success.

  • How cultural intelligence is a non-negotiable skill. Delving into effective cross-cultural communication and leveraging diverse perspectives for organisational strength.

Cultural competence is fundamental to the successful delivery of overseas Royal visits, which operate at the intersection of diplomacy, public ceremony, community engagement and symbolic leadership. Insufficient cultural awareness can quickly erode trust, goodwill and credibility, while strong cultural competence enhances reputation, strengthens diplomatic relations and enables meaningful engagement. Drawing on insights from visits to more than 60 countries, Eva provides a rare behind the scenes perspective on Royal Tours and State Visits to demonstrate the crucial role of cultural competency and gentle diplomacy. She will explore the many forms this takes, sharing learnings and insights drawn from her academic training as a cultural anthropologist as well as her professional experience in high-profile roles. In doing so, she will provides examples that translate into practical strategies for leaders to apply, enabling them to navigate complex environments and move forward with greater confidence.

  • How leaders and organizations can build authentic, lasting relationships with communities and stakeholders. Strategic communications that foster trust and ensure relevance.

The art of strategic engagement is a core leadership capability that determines whether organisations can influence, inspire and build trust in an increasingly complex global environment. In this session, Eva unpacks the frameworks and behaviours that drive high-impact engagement, from navigating diverse stakeholder expectations to crafting messages that resonate across different channels and cultures. Drawing on real-world experience advising public figures and global brands like Apple Music, SXSW and Google Deepmind, Eva will explore different approaches to strategic engagement, demonstrating how purposeful engagement can shift perceptions, strengthen partnerships and unlock unexpected new opportunities. Audiences will leave with practical tools they can apply immediately to elevate their communications and lead with clarity, confidence and intent.
